Beeswax wraps are made from OEKO-TEX cotton, beeswax, pine resin and jojoba oil. Beeswax wraps allow food product to breath and has antibacterial properties which help food stay fresh for longer. So, wrap your favourite cheese, half onion, avocado, put a sandwich for a snack, or cover a bowl of salad.
It sticks with the help of a warm hands, and stays as you like. Beeswax wraps can be kept in the fridge, cabinet or even in the freezer! After using the beeswax wrap, wash it with the cold water, if needed add some natural soap.
Don't use it with the raw meat and fish, very sour fruits such as lemon, pineapple or grapefruit. Keep beeswax away from direct sunlight and hot water, in high temperature beeswax starts to melt.
After some time (a year or so) beeswax wrap will expire, it will become no longer sticky. You can heat it in the oven, in this way the ingredients will spread and it will prolog the duration of usage or you can impregnate it again by oneself. Otherwise beeswax wraps are all natural, so you can compost it.
Bee's wrap lasts for up to 1 to 3 years depending on the intensity of use.
